
Ecofi Investissements buys Esfin Gestion
Asset management group Ecofi Investissements has wholly acquired the French GP Esfin Gestion.
Both organisations are wholly owned subsidiaries of French bank Crédit Coopératif.
Ecofi is an asset manager with €8.2bn in assets under management as of December 2016. The group has 45 years of experience in managing its clients' assets and for 30 years it promotes solidarity-based finance with a social mission. The asset manager is based in Paris.
In January 2018, Esfin invested in French businesses Groupe Transparence, an insulating glass Manufacturer and distributor, and Demathieu & Bard, a construction services provider for engineering structures.
Esfin, founded in 1998, is a VC firm with assets under management of €175m. It invests up to €100,000-10m in growth and buyout deals involving French businesses, typically taking a minority stake. The companies it invests in usually have revenues of up to €80m. The VC firm is based in Courbevoie.
