
Amundi to raise fourth small-cap fund
Amundi Private Equity is planning to raise a fourth private equity small-cap fund by the second half of this year.
The French asset manager set the target for the fund at €150m and plans on investing €3-10m per deal in small companies.
In addition, Amundi is also planning to hold a final close for its Amundi Private Equity Fund Megatrends vehicle by December 2018, the investor confirmed with Unquote. Launched in 2016, the vehicle has a €350m hard-cap.
Amundi held a first and final close on €665m in November 2017 for Amundi Dette Senior FPE III, a private debt fund investing in European SMEs.
The vehicle will make 30-40 investments in companies with a turnover of €75-300m, providing senior secured and unsecured loans, according to Unquote Data.
