LBO France hires three for venture, small-cap
LBO France has recruited venture partner Philippe Chambon and director Sébastien Woynar to its venture team, while managing director Nicolas Manardo joined the small-cap division earlier in 2018.
Chambon has experience of healthcare venture capital in the US. Starting off in the pharmaceutical industry, he then held positions in the Boston Consulting Group, the Sprout group and New Leaf Venture Partners.
Woynar started his career in the public healthcare sector, before joining the at-home healthcare industry in 2010.
The venture team of LBO France was created following the acquisition of Innovation Capital in May 2016. Nine team members currently manage the fund dedicated to the digital health sector.
Manardo began his career at Lazard, before moving to the M&A team at Societe Generale. He subsequently joined BPI France in 2009, where he was eventually in charge of mid-cap equity and debt investment products.
LBO France's small-cap team invests in French and Italian SMEs with strong international development potential. It now has six staff, including three based in Italy, and is also supported by the six members of LBO France's operational value creation team.
