
21 Centrale Partners hires Cathay's Chatain as principal
21 Centrale Partners has appointed Cathay Capital Private Equity's Dorothée Chatain as a principal.
In her new role, Chatain will take part in sourcing, investing in and supporting portfolio companies for the 21 Centrale Partners V fund. The vehicle recently held a first close on €200m and is expected to reach a €300m final close by the end of the year.
Prior to joining 21 Centrale, Chatain worked at Cathay, first as an associate for seven years and then as an investment director for three years.
Chatain will work within a team composed of eight members, including former KPMG M&A and transaction services analyst Tracy Tran and former Accuracy associate Cyriac Schmit, who respectively joined 21 Centrale in 2017 and 2018.
