Idinvest boosts growth capital team with new hire
Guillaume Santamaria has joined Idinvest's Growth Capital team as an investment director.
Santamaria will be involved in sourcing, analysing and executing investments for the firm's Growth Capital team, both in France and across Europe.
He joins from Apparius Corporate Finance, an independent TMT-focused M&A firm. There, he notably started the digital health practice and originated on a dozen transactions. Prior to that, he worked at Quilvest.
Idinvest held a first close on €250m for its second growth capital fund, Idinvest Growth Fund II, in late 2016. At the time, the GP was aiming for a final close on €350-400m in Q1 2017 – the vehicle is understood to still be fundraising. The fund was planning to make between 12-20 investments, with tickets varying between €10-14m.
