Idinvest hires former Balderton principal Debock
Idinvest Partners has appointed former Balderton Capital principal Nicolas Debock as an investment director in its venture capital team.
Debock will be responsible for sourcing, analysing and executing VC investments both in France and the rest of Europe.
Nicolas joins Idinvest Partners with seven years' experience working for Balderton Capital and XAnge Private Equity, during which he made SaaS, marketplace and fintech investments focusing on the French and southern European markets.
He previously worked as innovation ecosystem manager for La Poste, where he was in charge of analysing trends in technology and managing relationships with the startup ecosystem.
Idinvest's latest VC investments include a series-A round for French and US medical device company Biomodex as well as series-B funding for Madrid-based OnTruck, a freight delivery platform.
