Quilvest reshuffles management
Quilvest Private Equity has promoted Alexis Meffre to executive chairperson as a result of Stanislas Poniatowski's retirement, and made Guy Zarzavatdjian senior partner in a management reshuffle.
Meffre has taken over from Poniatowski, former executive chairperson at Quilvest, since his retirement in June 2018. Prior to his time at Quilvest, Poniatowski was CEO of Lazard.
Meffre joined Quilvest in 2018 as vice-chairperson. Prior to joining Quilvest, he was a director at ACG Capital (then Groupama Private Equity), where he co-managed the investment team and was a member of the investment committee.
From 2003-2017, Meffre was at Proarco (a French development financial institution) where he co-founded the private equity team, focusing on emerging markets and managing assets of €150m.
Zarzavatdjian joined Quilvest in 2014 as CEO of Quilvest & Partners. In 2018, he transitioned out of this previous role to become senior partner, focusing on the PE direct investments business. Prior to joining Quilvest, Zarzavatdjian was a member of 3i Group's management committee.
Quilvest's executive committee is currently composed of four senior members: Alexis Meffre, Benton Cummings, Maninder Saluja and Emile Zakhia.
