Capzanine hires Tourmente
Capzanine has expanded its senior management team with the appointment of Renaud Tourmente as head of business development, effective from May 2019.
Tourmente will join as partner and will be part of the executive committee.
In his role, he will support the firm's international development, pursue the diversification of debt products, and contribute to the strengthening of relationships with investors. His role will also include the elaboration of new complementary products, developed organically or by acquisition.
Tourmente recently worked at Axa Investment Managers (Axa IM), where he co-led the global loans and private debt platform, and developed his knowledge of alternative asset classes with a focus on illiquid strategies.
Prior to this, Tourmente was employed at BNP Paribas and WestLB, mostly based in London, where he was head of the EMEA corporate and acquisition finance team, and general manager of WestLB France. He was also on the boards of the Axa IM structured finance platform and of the loan market association in London.
