Investors inject €300m in Tikehau Capital Advisors
Tikehau Capital Advisors (TCA), Tikehau Capital SCA's main shareholder, has secured commitments of €195m from new backers, including Morgan Stanley, as well as €105m from previous backers.
TCA forms part of the shareholding of Tikehau Capital SCA, the asset manager listed on Euronext Paris, along with other investors on the share register, such as Temasek. Tikehau Capital SCA manages the Tikehau IM, Tikehau Capital Europe and ACE Management activities, among others.
The investment in TCA is at around €300m, with €195m provided by new backers, including Morgan Stanley, via its North Haven Tactical Value Fund.
The new equity raise allows TCA's founders and managers to reinvest in Tikehau Capital SCA, in which they own a stake of around 60%. Temasek, FFP, MACSF and others equally recommitted to Tikehau Capital SCA.
The proceeds of this share capital increase will be used for general corporate purposes and to support Tikehau Capital SCA's plans for expansion and growth.
