Latour collects €800m for third fund
French private equity firm Latour Capital has surpassed its initial target of €800m for Latour Capital III.
The fund is expected to close in March 2020, Unquote has learned. The fund's predecessor, Latour Capital II, closed on €300m in 2015.
The vehicle has attracted a number of international LPs: US-based investors and LPs from Asia (including Japan and Singapore) invested in the vehicle, according to French publication Capital Finance.
Pensioenfonds PGB has backed the fund as part of its first two private equity investments through the ASI-managed fund, Unquote previously reported.
Latour, a generalist investor, typically backs businesses valued in the €50-200m region with equity tickets of €15-45m, according to Unquote Data.
Latour had not responded to a request for comment at the time of publication.
