France's Apax Partners hires new IR professional
France-based mid-market GP Apax Partners has hired Josephine Loreal as head of third-party distribution in its investor relations team.
Loreal will report to partner Guillaume Cousseran, who heads the firm's business development and investor relations activities.
Loreal began her career in 2003 at Natixis Asset Management in the external distribution team, in charge of partner relations. In 2006, she joined the sales team at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, and was specifically responsible for banks and asset managers.
In 2009, Loreal became the head of that team and in 2012 she was named deputy director of distribution for Europe, in charge of wholsale clients in France, Monaco and Benelux.
She joined asset manager Candriam in 2018 as director of distribution for France.
In addition to Loreal, Apax has also hired Raphaël Bazin as a director for Apax Partners Development, the team dedicated to investments in companies with EV of €10-100m. Bazin started his PE career at PAI Partners where he worked for four years, before spending seven years at Argos Wityu.
