Eurazeo signs France Invest gender diversity charter
Eurazeo has signed a gender diversity charter from trade body France Invest, committing to gender-balanced representation in the firm and in its portfolio companies.
Women represent 47% of Eurazeo's employees, it said in a statement, compared with the 28% average in the industry. More than a quarter (28%) of the GP's investment team is female, compared with 14% on average across the industry. Eurazeo aims to appoint women to 50% of junior roles in its investment teams to fuel that diversity effort.
The GP has also been supporting other initiatives relating to gender diversity, according to a statement, including the Rising Talents programme and the SISTA movement, which aims to facilitate access to funding for female entrepreneurs.
Unquote spoke with France Invest's Dominique Gaillard about topics including diversity in private equity at IPEM in Cannes in January 2020.
