Kramer Levin hires Eversheds team for French PE, financing practices
Law firm Kramer Levin has added five lawyers to its private equity and banking/finance practices in Paris.
The firm has hired partners Sébastien Pontillo and Sophie Perus, counsel Blandine Gény, and associates Lancelot Montmeterme and Brenda Ambele. The team previously practised at Eversheds Sutherland. Two additional associates will join them in the coming weeks, the firm said in a statement.
Pontillo focuses on leveraged buyouts, growth capital and venture capital transactions. He advises private equity funds and management teams on international and domestic transactions. He also advises companies on international mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and joint venture agreements.
Perus focuses on banking and finance. She advises credit institutions and funds as well as companies in their domestic and international financing operations. Her practice focuses mainly on bank, bond (unitranche, senior, second lien, mezzanine) and structured financing, but also covers asset and real estate financing. She also has extensive experience in debt restructuring and lease financing.
Gény specialises in corporate, bank and bond financings, asset financings and real estate financings. Montmeterme will advise on leveraged buyouts, growth capital and venture capital transactions, as well as on domestic and cross-border M&A, and restructuring transactions. Ambele's practice focuses on M&A, private equity transactions and corporate governance matters.
Kramer Levin's Paris office now comprises 55 lawyers, including 21 partners.
