Tikehau appoints Cabanis as deputy CEO
Tikehau Capital has announced the appointment of Cécile Cabanis to the role of deputy CEO as part of its new management structure, effective as of 1 September 2021.
Cabanis will oversee functions including human capital, ESG and corporate social responsibility, communications and brand marketing, as well as assisting with the firm's development of its global network of corporates.
Prior to joining Tikehau, Cabanis was an executive vice-president at Danone, overseeing finance, strategy, information systems, purchasing, cycles and sustainable resource development. She also has prior experience with L'Oréal and in the M&A department of Orange.
In her new role, Cabanis will work alongside fellow deputy CEO Henri Marcoux, who is responsible for finance and risks, technology and transformation, and operations. Cabanis will report to Antoine Flamarion and Mathieu Chabran, the co-founders of Tikehau Capital.
Tikehau simultaneously announced that Thomas Friedberger, CEO of Tikehau IM, will now take on a new role as deputy CEO of Tikehau Capital in his capacity as the group's chief investment officer.
Tikehau's shareholders approved the group's new "future-facing and simplified" management organisation in the firm's general meeting on 15 July 2021. The firm hired Antoine Onfray as its new CFO in December 2020, as reported; Onfray reports to deputy CEO Marcoux.
