
DLA Piper bolsters French PE team with new hire

DLA Piper has appointed Thomas Priolet to the Paris corporate practice to strengthen the law firm’s international private equity offering alongside two associates.
Priolet’s appointment commences on 12 September, according to a press release.
Prior to joining DLA Piper, Priolet was a partner at D’Ornano & Co, a transaction services and legal consulting firm for over a year, covering corporate, transaction services, M&A and private equity, according to his LinkedIn profile. Previously he was at the French law firm Bredin Prat for over a year focusing on M&A and private equity. He started his career at Salans (now Dentons) in October 2010, he spent over four years at the firm where he covered M&A, investment funds and private equity, according to LinkedIn.
His expertise will strengthen DLA Pipers offering in the aforementioned practice areas. Priolet’s appointment is accompanied by two associates, Morgane Leduc and Sarah Garde, according to the press release.
The French market is an important component of DLA Piper's private equity practice, which has acted on several European buyouts in the previous three years, according to the press release. With Priolet’s appointment alongside the associates, DLA Piper will broaden its client base while deepening the expertise the firm is able to offer its existing clients.
