
EdRIP and UI gestion stage OBO of Segex
Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (EdRIP), UI Gestion and Socadif have staged an OBO of the Segex Group, a civil engineering company, alongside the management.
EdRIP provided an equity ticket of EUR 8m in what is the first from its Winch Capital 2 fund. The investment was supported by a EUR 15m senior debt provided by LCL.
Socadif have reinvested in the company having supported a management buyout from Generale des Eaux in 2001, while UI Gestion have also returned after purchasing a stake in 2006.
The Wissous-based firm, founded in 1969, is specialised in civil engineering and offers public construction services. Seggex provides support to road building, road installations such as draining and footbridges as well supporting the management public green spaces such as parks. The company had a turnover of EUR 130m in 2009 with the aim to increase that to EUR 180m in the next 4-5 years.
