21 Centrale Partners creates outdoor accommodation group
21 Centrale Partners has created an outdoor accommodation group by merging its portfolio company Vacances Directes with newly acquired business Village Center.
The combined entity will manage more than 20,000 camping plots and 13,500 mobile homes. It is expected to generate a turnover of €100m in 2012 while it strives for further European expansion.
Both companies will continue to run independently within the new holding company. 21 Centrale bought Village Center from NYSE Euronext Paris-listed Promeo Group earlier this month; Promeo continues to hold a minority stake in the business.
