Natixis appoints Pierre-Henri Denain to head of EMEA

Natixis has appointed Pierre-Henri Denain to head the EMEA platform in the firm's wholesale banking division.
Denain will also retain his previous position of senior country manager at Natixis, overlooking activities in the UK. Denain's new role will look across Natixis's entire wholesale banking and markets businesses in the EMEA region outside of France, including global structured and asset finance, and global markets.
Denain joined Natixis in 2006 as head of fixed-income sales for Europe before moving on to head of capital markets in London in 2009, followed by senior country manager for the UK in 2011.
Prior to joining Natixis, Denain held senior positions at various firms in London, including Citigroup's French global markets division, CDC Ixis, General Re Financial Products and Credit Suisse Financial Products.
Natixis is the corporate, investment management and financial services arm of Groupe BPCE, the second-largest banking player in France. The firm's core businesses are wholesale banking, investment solutions and specialised financial services.
