
21 Partners hold €300 second close of fourth fund
21 Partners has held a second close of 21 Centrale Partners IV just over €300m.
The fund, which has a target of €500m, held a first close on 210m in August 2009. 21 Centrale Partners IV is the successor to 21 Centrale Partners III, which was closed in 2006 on € 330 million.
The fund will make 10-15 investments of € 20-50m in buyouts of France-based international companies. The targets will typically have an enterprise value of € 50-300m. Amongst the funds investors is a mix of pension funds, insurance firms, banks, fund-of- funds and family offices.
