
EdRIP invest €3m in Soft Company OBO
Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (EdRIP) has backed the owner's buyout of French IT business Soft Company.
The small-cap funds of EdRIP invested €3m in exchange for a significant minority share in the business. The new capital structure will enable Soft Company to grow organically by broadening the range of services it offers and securing new partnerships. The company will also actively look for acquisition opportunities.
Soft Company is an IT solutions provider established in 1991 and based in Paris. The firm specifically targets the financial, technology and infrasructure sectors. It posted a €20m turnover for 2009, up 17% from the previous year, and employs 230 people.
