
McDermott Will & Emery promotes two in Paris office

Law firm McDermott Will & Emery has promoted Nicolas Lafont (pictured) and Lionel Lesur to partner positions in its Paris office.
Both lawyers joined McDermott Will & Emery as associates when the firm opened its Paris office in 2011.
Lafont focuses on corporate law and M&A. He advises domestic and international clients in negotiating acquisitions and disposals, notably in cross-border transactions.
Lesur specialises in corporate law and competition law. He notably focuses on negotiations of private mergers and acquisitions, leverage buyouts and commercial contracts. Lesur also has experience in competition law regarding merger control proceedings and antitrust proceedings.
