
Altamir Amboise joins LPEQ
Listed vehicle Altamir Amboise has become the first French member of LPEQ, the industry association of listed private equity investment companies.
Established in 1995 as a co-investment arm of Apax France, Altamir Amboise is a private equity vehicle listed on NYSE-Euronext Paris. Its market cap currently stands at €277.9m.
The fund's investment strategy evolved in January 2011, as it will no longer perform direct investments alongside Apax. It will instead invest as an LP in Apax's funds.
Altamir Amboise is the 20th member of LPEQ, and has joined other listed funds including Gimv NV, HgCapital Trust plc and J.P.Morgan Private Equity Limited.
