New investment bank launches in Paris
Sycomore Corporate Finance, a new investment bank set up by three French corporate financiers, launched in Paris in September.
Sycomore was founded by investment bankers Olivier Barret, Pierre-Arnaud de Lacharrière and François Vigne in a bid to capitalise on the changing economic and regulatory market conditions that have recently affected banks. Its clients include private equity funds, entrepreneurs, family-owned companies and corporate groups.
The independent bank is majority-owned by its founding partners and also enjoys backing from the founders of Sycomore Asset Management. The team comprises 10 investment bankers and a network of international partners, which offer a range of corporate finance advisory services including M&A, management advisory, financing strategy, capital raising, debt restructuring and financial communication.
Founding members Barret, de Lacharrière and Vigne have held senior roles at Crédit Suisse, Hawkpoint and Société Générale CIB respectively.
