360 Capital Partners invests in Leetchi
Franco-Italian investor 360 Capital Partners has invested under €1m in Leetchi.com, an online payment company, alongside Kima Ventures.
The investment comes only three months after the company was officially launched. Leetchi also counts Oleg Tscheltzoff (co-founder of Amen and CEO of Fotolia) as an angel investor in the business.
Leetchi.com is a free website which acts as an online kitty to which a number of individuals can contribute. Once the desired total is raised the website transfers the money for the agreed purchase for a 4% commission fee. The website had raised 350 such funds so far. The investment will be used to reinforce the company's five person team and expand the firm's activities. Celine Lazorthes is the company founder.
The deal is a maiden investment for Kima Ventures which was founded by entrepreneurs Xavier Niel and Jérémie Berrebi in 2010.
