Idinvest targets retail investors for new debt fund
French manager Idinvest Partners has started raising a second retail debt vehicle.
Idinvest Private Value Europe II is a follow up on the firm's first retail debt fund, which closed on €65m following the end of the regulated fundraising period. Idinvest is aiming to raise between €50-100m for this second effort in order to meet its initial goal of raising €150m for private debt from retail investors, according to French publication Capital Finance.
The fund will be raising for 14 months. It will have a two-year investment period starting in January 2015 and investors will start receiving distributions in 2020. Total fees are set at 3.2%, including a 2.25% management fee.
Idinvest Private Value Europe II will mainly target mezzanine investments in European SMEs valued in the €50-100m range. The fund will also consider opportunities in the secondary debt market.
