BC Partners recruits associate for Paris office
BC Partners has hired Pauline Spire as an associate in its Paris office.
Spire joins from Bain & Company, where she was working as a consultant across several sectors including industrials, financials, media and telecoms. Prior to that, she started her career at EY as a junior auditor in 2008 before moving on to M&A at Ohana & Co.
BC stated it was currently finalising another recruitment for the Paris office, to be announced before year-end, on the back of renewed activity on the continent.
The GP's most recent French investment was in animal tags business Allflex, which it acquired from Electra for $1.3bn last year. On the exit side, BC reaped a 2x return from the sale of homecare products maker Spotless Group to Henkel AG & Co, the German manufacturer of Persil and Schwarzkopf, for an enterprise value of €940m in June this year.
