Astorg promotes two to partner
French buyout house Astorg Partners has promoted Lorenzo Zamboni and Stéphane Epin to partner.
A French and Italian national, Zamboni joined Astorg in 2010 as a director. He had previously spent five years at 3i Italy's buyout team, working on transactions including Giochi Preziosi, ABX Logistics, Azelis and Monviso. Prior to that, Zamboni spent three years with KPMG in Paris as part of the transaction services Department. At Astorg, he has been involved in deals including Megadyne and Linxens.
Meanwhile, like Zamboni, Epin joined Astorg in 2010 as a director, and has since worked on transactions including Saverglass, Kerneos and Metrologic. He had previously worked at mid-cap GP Nixen for six years as an investment manager, following a stint as transaction services consultant with EY. Epin began his career as an M&A analyst at Rothschild.
