Astorg Partners promotes four
Paris-based private equity firm Astorg Partners has promoted Benoit Ficheur, Mathilde Desanges, Benjamin Dierickx and Marion Estève Guillemain within its investment team.
Ficheur has been promoted to director, while Desanges and Dierickx will both assume the title of associate director and Estève Guillemain will become an associate.
Employed by the firm since 2012, Ficheur has worked on transactions including Sebia and Gras Savoye. Before joining Astorg, he spent five years as principal at private equity firm Cinven and then went on to found Comptabis, an offshore accounting start-up he sold in 2012.
One of Astorg's two new associate directors, Desanges was hired by the firm in 2013 and was also involved in the Sebia deal, among others. She previously worked as a manager at McKinsey & Co's Paris office for six years, where she provided strategy and performance improvement advice to clients in the aerospace, energy and banking industries.
Dierickx has been at Astorg since 2011 and has worked on transactions such as Megadyne and Metalor. Prior to that, he was spent four years at LEK Consulting, where he advised clients in the industrial and professional services sectors on commercial due diligence matters.
Astorg's newest associate and a member of the firm since 2012, Estève Guillemain also worked at LEK for three years, specialising in providing advice related to the industrial, energy and consumer goods sectors. She has also worked for the French state's Fonds stratégique d'investissement for six months.
