
L Capital and Florac acquire SMCP group
L Capital and Florac have acquired 51% of French fashion group SMCP for an undisclosed amount.
The newly created holding structure will regroup ready-to-wear fashion brands Maje, Sandro and Claudie Pierlot. The three brands' founding shareholder and management will hold the remaining 49% of the shares.
Financial details on the transaction have not yet been disclosed. The investors plan to accelerate the companies' international expansion, first in the US and then in Asia.
