Carlyle buys B&B Hotels from Eurazeo
Eurazeo has entered into exclusive negotiations with Carlyle for the sale of hotels chain B&B Hotels.
The transaction is proceeding on the basis of an estimated enterprise value of €485m.
Eurazeo backed the secondary buyout of Financière Galaxie SAS, the holding company of B&B Hotels, from Duke Street Capital in 2005. The deal was valued at around €400m. The company opened 20 new hotels in 2009 and posted a €177m turnover, up 11.3% form the previous year.
