Prior to joining Weil, Faugérolas was a partner in the Paris office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher.

He has advised on several public company transactions; most recently, he represented Total in its takeover of Elf Aquitaine, Essilor as a shareholder of Sperian Protection with respect to Honeywell's tender offer, Sanofi-Aventis in its acquisitions of Laboratoire Oenobiol and Fovea Pharmaceuticals and Schneider Electric in a variety of bond issuances in France and the United States.
