
Phillimore appoints Olivier Grandry as partner
French private equity investor Phillimore has appointed Olivier Grandry as a partner.
Grandry joins from JP Morgan where he worked for 19 years, most recently as a managing director.
He joined the company in 1992 as an analyst in Paris, before becoming an associate in 1994. In 1996, Grandry became vice president and credit officer for French corporates, before joining the acquisition finance group in London. He returned to Paris, where he was appointed managing director.
Phillimore was founded in 2003 and focuses on small-cap transactions. The GP is currently raising its third fund, Phillimore 3, with a €50m target. The investor will seek minority stakes in French SMEs with sales of €5-50m.
The GP has completed 19 investments to date, including the management buyout of Ocean and the sale of Priceminister.
