Ingencio and Natixis sue private equity firms
French payment security company Ingencio has sued US private equity firm Francisco Partners, for breach of a non-disclosure agreement. It is unclear why Ingencio and Francisco had such an agreement in the first place, but Ingencio alleges that the document was violated when Francisco agreed to help finance rival Hypercom Corp's $120m acquisition of Thales' E-Transactions business.
Meanwhile, French bank Natixis is suing UK private equity firm Terra Firma. The law suit materialised from two executives allegedly concealing a critical error in the cashflow projections for the collapsed television rentals business Boxclever.
