
McDermott bolsters Paris team

Law firm McDermott Will & Emery has appointed three new partners and four new associates in its Paris office.
Bertrand Delafaye joined the firm as a partner in the corporate advisory practice. Antoine Vergnat will be a partner in the tax practice. Antony Martinez was appointed as a partner in the trial practice.
All three partners joined from Orrick Rambaud Martel. They will be joined by four associates coming from Orrick Rambaud Martel, SJ Berwin and Reed Smith.
McDermott recently made headlines when it hired Mark Davis and Russell Van Praagh for its London private equity practice. The pair left Dewey & LeBoeuf, now in administration, less than a year after joining.
