Siparex to acquire part of UFG PE
Siparex, parent company of Sigefi Private Equity, is in exclusive negotiations with UFG-LFP to acquire part of its UFG Private Equity division.
The private equity division, which manages €320m and has around 30 portfolio companies, would become owned in equal parts by UFG-LFP and Siparex. The move coincides with the resignation of Patrick Lissague who had been at the helm of UFG Private Equity since July 2005.
UFG Private Equity specialises in expansions deals and small LBO's. The investor recently provided EUR 5m in a third round of funding for Arkadin, a provider of audio and web conferencing services via its funds FCPI Diadième III and IV.
