
Kramer Levin promotes Dominique Penin to partner
French business law firm Kramer Levin has elected Dominique Penin as a partner.
Penin will work alongside partners Christian Orengo and Julien Martinet as well as counsel Marie-Christine Fournier-Gille in the firm's restructuring and litigation & white-collar crime practice in Paris.
Penin has been with Kramer Levin for more than 15 years. The firm has advised on a number of private equity and venture capital deals including Apax France's acquisition of Texa last year, for which it provided legal and tax advice to the vendor, and Azulis Capital's secondary buyout of Shop Novation in 2011, where it provided legal advice to the vendor.
The firm's Paris office has approximately 40 lawyers, including 15 partners.
