Idinvest promotes three in private debt team
Idinvest Partners has promoted Eric Gallerne to partner as well as Maxime de Roquette Buisson and Nicolas Nedelec to investment directors within the firm’s private debt division.
Gallerne joined Idinvest in 2012 as a director, heading the firm's senior debt investments. Prior to joining Idinvest, Gallerne spent 10 years heading up the financial engineering and acquisition finance departments at Fortis Banque France.
De Roquette Buisson joined Idinvest in 2011 following a four-year stint in the transaction services division of PwC's Paris office. Having been promoted from investment manager, de Roquette Buisson is involved in the financial analysis and monitoring of Idinvest's European mezzanine and equity funds.
Nedelec, who joined Idinvest in 2007, has also been promoted from investment manager. Alongside De Roquette Buisson, he takes part in the financial analysis and monitoring of the firm's European primary funds. Nedelec is also involved in the analysis of co-investment opportunities and secondary transactions. Prior to joining Idinvest, Nedelec trained in the structured finance department at Natixis.
At the end of last year, Idinvest began raising its second retail debt vehicle, Idinvest Private Value Europe II. The firm is aiming to raise €50-100m for the fund, which will focus predominantly on mezzanine investments in European SMEs.
Last week, Idinvest-managed cleantech venture capital fund Electranova Capital led a series-B funding round for Sunfire, a German developer of technology for closed-carbon-cycle energy supply.
