Keensight bolsters team with two appointments

Carrot joined Keensight in June 2014, when he left LBO France after almost six years, first as a financial controller from November 2008-December 2012. He was later named deputy CFO and middle-office manager. Prior to LBO France, he had spent two years as an auditor at consulting firms PwC and Massena Finance Gestion.

Like Carrot, Lefebvre started work at the GP last June, having started his career as an investment analyst at Paris-based buyout firm CM-CIC Capital Privé. There, he worked on small-cap deals including Airtag, OliverStore and MisterAuto.

Lefebvre was then recruited by Rothschild, where he was involved in transactions for the firm's Five Arrows Principal Investments fund, including a €40 investment in Photonis.

Immediately before joining Keensight, Lefebvre was an associate at Argos Soditic for more than two years and was responsible for deals including Natural Distribution and Valco Group France.

The appointments comes one month after Keensight made headlines when it scored a 12x return on the sale of LDR Médical. The French spinal implant device designer had been picked up by Keensight in 2005 and had since received €10m in further investment.
