Truffle Capital invests €7.5m in three energy companies
Truffle Capital has invested a total of €7.5m in three French energy companies – Neelogy, Acerde and Actility.
Truffle Capital contributed €3m to Neelogy's second round of financing. The capital will allow the company to finance its R&D and strengthen its commercial and industrial teams. Neelogy develops and commercialises magnetic sensors.
The venture firm also invested €1.5m in Acerde, a designer of high-performance materials founded in 2006. Acerde will use the fresh funds to develop its technology for X-ray tube anodes and generate its first short-term revenues.
Founded in 2010, Actility is currently designing a next-generation machine-to-machine communication platform. The €3m received from Truffle Capital will allow the company to fund the first release of its product.
