
Truffle Capital promotes two to partner
Paris-based VC Truffle Capital has promoted Antoine Pau and Alexandre Ouimet-Storrs to partners.
Pau, who is also a lecturer at Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, was hitherto Truffle's investment manager for the life sciences sector.
He is a board member at portfolio companies including Theradiag, Abivax, Biokinesis, Deinobiotics and Diaccurate.
Prior to joining Truffle in 2008, he was employed by Mazars to carry out financial due diligence for technology companies and legal audits for pharmaceutical and biotech businesses.
Ouimer-Storrs has been involved in the firm's energy and cleantech transactions as investment director since 2011. He sits on the boards of portfolio companies Dietswell, Acerde, Actility, SP3H, Neelogy, OHT, Eco Carbone and 2B Energy.
His track record also includes co-founding two Canadian start-ups and supervising financial co-generation plant optimisation as Air Liquide's energy manager for Europe.
