
De Pardieu Brocas Maffei appoints new counsel
French law firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei has hired Maxime Dequesnes as counsel in its private equity practice.
Dequesnes specialises in both private equity (LBO, venture capital) and M&A transactions - he will mainly advise the equity side in mid-cap buyouts.
He joins from SJ Berwin, where he spent nine years as a senior associate. Prior to this, he worked as an associate in Andersen Legal's international M&A department between 2001 and 2003.
De Pardieu Brocas Maffei's PE team now comprises 20 lawyers, including 12 partners, active in four departments: investment, LBO financing, LBO taxation, and restructuring & distressed LBOs.
