AGF Private Equity becomes IDInvest Partners
IDI Group has finalised the buyout of French private equity firm AGF from Allianz.
Following the acquisition, IDI's private equity branch (IDInvest Patners and IDI Emerging Markets) will manage €3bn of private equity funds for its investors and clients. Christophe Baviere, chairman of IDInvest Partners' management board, has stated that all of AGF's investments will still be managed by the same teams.
Christian Langlois-Meurinne, president of the IDI Group, becomes the chairman of IDInvest Partners' supervisory board. Julien Bentz, deputy chief executive of IDI Asset Management, and Tatiana Nourissat, company secretary of the IDI Group, will join the supervisory board. Allianz will still be represented by Pier Riches, member of the executive committee in charge of investments, and François Thomazeau, special advisor to the president of Allianz France.
