
OFI mulls over Siam sale
OFI Private Equity is considering selling its stake in sealing products manufacturer Financière de Siam, OFI's chief executive told Reuters.
OFI Private Equity acquired sealing products companies Siem and Flexitallic in 2006 and 2007 respectively, then merged the two entities to form the Financière de Siam group. The private equity investor provided €22.8m of equity in total for a 50.7% stake in the consolidated entity.
Headquartered in Paris, the group supplies the petrochemical sector with joints and bindings for valves. It posted a €71.9m turnover in 2009.
