Bain considering FCI IPO
Bain Capital is considering an IPO for its French portfolio company FCI, according to reports.
The IPO of the company is expected to take place next year and comes after rising share prices for other electronic connector companies.
Bain acquired FCI in September 2005 in a transaction that valued the company at €1.07bn. In July 2006, the FCI Americas subsidiary was sold to Hubbell Inc for $360m.
