Sopromec and BTP Capital back Charles Service MBI
Sopromec and BTP Capital have backed the management buy-in of forklift rental company Charles Service with a €170,000 investment.
Each investor provided €85,000 to support the management buy-in led by entrepreneur Cédric Brémard. The new owners plan to treble the company's turnover within five years and increase its presence across France.
Charles Service is a Chelles-based forklift rental company founded in the 1960s. It is the exclusive distributor of Yale forklifts in the Paris region. Charles Service posted a €4m turnover for 2009 and employs 25 people.
