CDC to sell PE portfolio
France's Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) is planning the sale of a €180m private equity fund portfolio, according to media reports.
Campbell Lutyens is believed to be working as an intermediary on the deal, which would see CDC offload commitments in European buyout funds to focus on other investment opportunities.
The French state-owned financial institution invests in growth capital funds through its subsidiary CDC Entreprises, which can also invest directly in French SMEs. Its other subsidiary Qualium Investissements is a direct investor focusing on small- and mid-cap deals in France.
