123Venture restructures team, makes new hires
French firm 123Venture has announced the appointment of new members of staff, as well as some changes within the firm’s existing management structure.
Pierre Dupuy-Chaignaud has been appointed as an investment director. He joins 123Venture from his role as a portfolio director at French bank Bred, a position he had held since in 2010. Prior to that, he worked as a credit analyst and then an associate at the bank.
Hajar Idrissi and Antoine Kraus joined last month as associates. Idrissi has previously worked at Société Générale within mid-cap mergers and acquisitions.
Kraus has previously worked at Equistone and Intermediate Capital Group.
The firm also made several changes within its existing team. Johann Devaux has been named as management spokesperson and a member of the investment committee. Devaux was previously a managing partner at the firm.
Managing partner Isabelle Deby has also joined the investment committee. She began working at 123Venture in 2007.
Mathieu Sanlaville has become a commercial director at the firm. Having joined 123Venture in 2008, Sanlaville was previously responsible for partner relations.
The firm has also restructured its four-person board into a new supervisory board and executive board. 123Venture CEO and founder Olivier Goy has become chairman of the supervisory board, with Paul de Fréminville taking the role of vice chairman.
The firm's new supervisory board will see several independent members join in the coming months. The first of these is set to be Paris-based lawyer Philippe Meylan.
123Venture co-founder Xavier Anthonioz has become chairman of the executive board, having previously held the position of managing director in charge of development.
Alongside Anthonioz, the executive board is composed of five other new members: COO Eric Philippon, who will be in charge of the management team; managing partner Marc Guittet, who will be responsible for the control and supervision of the management team; managing partner Jean-Philippe Olivier, who will oversee investments in renewable energy; managing partner Barthélemy Renaudin; and managing partner Antonio Graça, who was responsible for investments in healthcare.
