
Fondations Capital acquires Tarmac assets
Fondations Capital signed its maiden investment by purchasing Tarmac’s French and Belgian building materials divisions in a spin-off acquisition alongside CIC Investissement Nord.
The deal was based on an enterprise value of €67m and financed with a €30m senior debt facility provided by CM-CIC Banque Scalbert Dupont CIN and including LCL, Crédit Agricole Nord France, BCMNE and Société Générale.
TMC is a producer of concrete prefabricated products in the French and Belgian markets. The company has around 600 employees over 31 production plants, based mostly in Northern France, the Paris area and Normandy, as well as in the Rhône-Alpes and Aquitaine regions. TMC recorded a revenue of €136m in 2209.
