Gemmes reaps €12m in Asten partial exit
French venture capital house Gemmes Venture has partially sold its stake in homecare provider Asten Santé for €12m.
Following the deal, Gemmes remains the majority shareholder of Asten, alongside several investment associations. The buyer and existing shareholder, Salvepar, increased its stake in the business to 22.3%.
The fresh funding will enable the business to consolidate its market and boost its product development in the telemedicine segment.
Previous funding
Salvepar first acquired a 14.6% stake in Asten from Gemmes in 2014. The deal was valued at €16m.

Asten is a French homecare provider operating in both the voluntary and professional sectors. The business is based in Ivry-sur-Seine, France.
The company specialises in oxygen therapy and services relating to drip, nutrition and insulin-therapy.
