Perfectis exits Piscines Magiline in SBO
Nine years after acquiring a 70% stake in French group Piscines Magiline’s, Perfectis has sold the business to a group of investors led by UI Gestion.
The new pool of investors is led by UI Gestion, which secured around 50% of Perfectis's stake, alongside BPI France, Esfin Gestion and BTB Capital Investissement. According to a source close to the deal, the pool of investors also committed an extra €2m to the company.
Perfectis had been the company's majority shareholder since 2007, having acquired a 70% stake in the business in a BIMBO. UI Gestion had also been involved in this transaction as a minority shareholder, securing a stake of less than 10% via its FCPI CapEst and IRPAC Developpement funds.
Herve Petillaud, who holds shares in the the company and has been Magiline's president for the past three years, will remain in his current position.
The transaction is expected to allow Piscine Magiline to develop on a technological level and strengthen its position on the European and Asian markets.
